project synopsis

Harnas currently runs an amazing volunteer project. This project allows people from all over the world and all walks of life to experience real Namibian farm life, animal study, interaction and care. Daily activities include food preparation for animals and feeding them, cleaning of enclosures and cages, building of enclosures, waterholes and fences, fencing patrols, game counting, animal studies, helping in the children’s day care centre, bush burning, fear factor games, survivor games, dress up nights, bush walks and star gazing.

The Harnas Volunteer slogan is “expect the unexpected!”
